During my time at limehome I had the pleasure of leading the efforts to improve our planning tools and align processes between the Munich, Madrid, and Milan offices.
This process involved around 20 planners and 15 external stakeholders across various departments.
Around 35 processes were fully or partially automated, from the initial building assessment to generating instructions for the move-in team and ordering furniture.
The automation benefited especially tasks connected to calculating areas and counting quantities, which used to be the most monotonous and prone to error.
This was made possible with custom scripts, alignment between software, and Excel formulas.
